For her age, Nihli appears very young. Her skin is mostly scar-free, save for the two on her face and a few others littered on her legs and arms. She has the standard Miqo'te clan markings as well as dark lips and some red face paint on her eyelids.On her body, she is covered in tattoos. Though these are usually covered, they do peek through in some clothing. These markings have an arcane glow to them, as though they are taking in and channelling aether. On her fingers, she wears metal claws that are slightly bejewelled, but are both a fashion statement and practical.Her tail, while long, is also very soft and fluffy. Though she has a short stature, she is well-built. Not overly buff, but she is fit and has a beautiful figure. She also wears a dark band with a small, red gem embedded in it on her left hand.

Nihli is, in the easiest terms, quiet. She's soft-spoken, polite and doesn't yell often. She's a calming presence in a sea of chaos and doesn't mind the quiet. She enjoys a spot of tea with some snacks. Everything about her is quiet, except her magic. But even then, most tend to forget her presence, a skill she unconsciously uses every day.However, if she is angry, either at you or something else, it starts as and will always be a quiet rage. Glares, whispers, and even the odd ignorance of presence. Even when angry, she won't explode. She might vent her frustrations on a training dummy, to let out aggression, but she has been good about not harming others when angry unless they wish to fight.She always tries to be a sort of mentor or calming friend to those close to her, offering advice and a quiet place to vent. When it comes to combat, she'd rather not fight, usually trying to resolve issues with words over actions. Only when no other method will work, is when she will take up arms. However, threatening those close to her will give you either the quiet rage or something akin to a wild creature... but that side of her has only been seen a rare few times.

CHILDHOOD
Nihli was born in the forests of Doma, living with her tribe in the mountains. Though she did not know peace for very long, as when the Garlean occupation occurred when she was all but 5 summers old. Her entire tribe was wiped out, as they fought against the Garleans, alongside the Doman resistance, leaving her, her parents and the Tribe Matron among the few that managed to escape.However as they travelled to safe shores, more of their tribe died off, unable to make the journey anymore, leaving just her and her parents left by the time they had reached the gates of Ul'dah.At a young age, Nihli worked a number of jobs. She mainly worked as an entertainer and dancer in many of the lounges for the lower class of Ul'dah, while her father worked in the mines and her mother helped teach people medicine. Eventually, as she grew older, her family fell on hard times and she took more... dangerous jobs. Mainly, she was a hired assassin when she was not studying in the Ossuary or performing. It was a lot of work, but it brought bread on the table.Thankfully, by the age of 18 summers, she was able to sign on as an adventurer. She longed for that freedom. To explore the world, study everything and maybe, just maybe, find other members of her tribe. Since then, she has been on the road, eventually picking up Kiba during one Operation Archon, and been by his side ever since.ADVENTURING YEARS

In the last year or so, Nihli has retired from adventuring. While thankful for the experiences she had while on the field and the people she had met on the way, she decided to settle down after the Final Days had been averted. Now, with more time on her hands, she opened up a small shop in the quiet boroughs of Shirogane, that worked as both her base of operations for all of her magical studies and a safe, neutral zone for everyone.Having left much of the adventuring life behind her, for now, she has spent more time with her children and expanding her already massive library. Now, she is currently researching into the history of her bloodline, relearning the magic that was lost so many years ago, and bringing it back to light.

WEAPONS & PROFICIENCIES
Black Magic : Probably one of the most iconic parts about her, Nihli applies Black Magic into many of her spells. Though rare to learn, and harder to master, she is very adept in the art and even uses it as a basis for her own spells and wards. Being 34 years old, Nihli has been studying and practicing Black Magic in secret for over 16 years now. She knows just about everything to do with the spell school, from its history, to the sensation of raw magic flowing through her veins. She's still debating whether or not to replace one of her eyes with Materia, h however.Custom Spells : As mentioned before, Nihli has started developing her own spellschool, centered around wards and shields in an offensive manner. The spells are a mix of Black Magic, Astrology and Geomancy, written in an old Doman script. This script, she learn from her parents and has resorted to writing in this manner. It's an ancient Doman script, mixed with the Miqo'te script of her birth tribe. She writes in this script for secrecy's sake, but many of the spells are powerful and rival her prowess in Black Magic, in terms of preparation.
